Today was such a wonderful day. Things at work are in the process of finally being ironed out, though today was still a circus. I did get to leave at 11:15 though. Which made for a nice short day. I went and picked up Nana Banana, and spent the whole day with her.
I took her into work, and felt like a horrible mother/employee. I passed an already fussy little Nana off to a coworker and she started SCREAMING immediately. Guess I shouldn't have woken her up from her nap. I was so embarrassed and turned bright red. I immediately felt like I had a temperature! Luckily she settled down after almost eating a whole bottle. She still was a fussy little butt so we did not stay long. Not our finest visit.
Needless to say, a workout wasn't exactly needed, but definitely wanted. IT was double day Friday, but since the lovely daughter of mine was overly exhausted, I was able to finish total body circuit and only about 2/3rds of Ab Intervals. Still I enjoyed ever minute. Though I didn't quite get the burn I craved. Its more that the cardio part wears me out, I've actually come to LOVE Squats. I was looking at my legs, in the mirror this morning and I was actually really proud! I think thats my favorite part of my body right now is my legs! My legs or my booty! I'll keep squatting away!
So, now that I have the whole working out thing down (its been 3 weeks which means its officially a habit!) I need to really start focusing on my nutrition. If I REALLY want to drop the weight I want, I need to start cleaning up my eating. I've been doing a really good job at cutting out beers after work (Monday - Wednesday) and cutting out sodas during the week. So that's my goal for now. This is probably going to be harder on me than starting to work out. Luckily Shakeology is on my side!
