T25: Week 3 Day 3

Can't believe I'm already over half way done with week three of my program!  Which means I'm half way done with Alpha! Its been a wild ride so far.  I went for it, have been giving it 100% and haven't looked back!  I weighed myself this evening for kicks and giggles, and I'm down another .6 of a pound!  That's 2.2 pounds in less than two weeks.   - Just think, if you started two weeks ago, you could be lighter too! 

Today was lower focus day.  Man does Shaun T make you work your legs.  Have I said he loves lunges and squats?  By the end of one progression, my legs were shaking so bad, I thought I was going to collapse.  I kept pushing my muscles to work harder and guess what.  I didn't!  I made it!  It just goes to show, your mind will quit before your body will.  Walking up the stairs to bed I felt EVERY. MUSCLE.  My body is changing and I'm loving it. 

It was super nice to come home from a long day and do my workout too.  Its something I'm learning to look forward to instead of dreading.  My body has begun to crave the workouts.  Though, by 9pm, I'm usually ready for bed.  But I am sleeping better and waking up more refreshed.  I have never slept so peacefully in my life (when its not my nights to stay up with Nana Banana). 

Josh has been a huge help.  When Nana isn't allowing both of us to workout, he takes care of her so I can finish.  He knows how important this is to me.  A HUGE part of my success so far is making this a priority.  Previously working out has never been a priority and I ALWAYS failed.  I realize sometimes its not always going to work out that I can get a workout in.  Sometimes life is going to be too busy with work and a baby girl.  But making it a priority has allowed me to find the time in my busy days.  After all, it is only 25 minutes!
