Motivation & Accountability. My "why" I want to work out is pretty obvious. I want to love my body, and I want to be a good example for my daughter. But days like today, motivation and accountability drove me more than the reason behind my choices.
After a LONG day at work - mainly because Savannah was up more than once last night and my brain just refused to funciton properly - I was thinking of EVERY possible reason as to WHY I SHOULDN'T work out tonight. Seriously it was the last thing I wanted to do, and I was already making up excuses in my mind to try and convince Josh to NOT work out tonight. Not because I was sore, I just wanted to be a lazy butt.
Well I got home, and Josh was sitting on the couch, in his workout clothes, with the living room table already moved and the rug rolled up. He was my accountability. The thing was, he didn't want to either. But he knew how much it means to me to get in shape and feel good about myself again. He was exactly what I needed. Matter of fact, I didn't even list off one of the 100s of excuses I came up with. I just hugged my baby, went upstairs and changed into my clothes and we started.

Today Josh saved me from giving up. He saved me from letting excuses get the better of me. He saved me from breaking my goal. He saved me from failing. I encourage you to find someone that is going to motivate you and keep you accountable. That's why I love beach body. You get a free coach who is going to follow up with you, and keep you accountable (the girls would have if Josh didn't.)
I also encourage anyone who wants to join me to message me! There's a beach body program for everyone! You too can have the body you've always wanted! I'll help keep you motivated and accountable! I will stick by your side through ups and downs, just like everyone reading this is sticking by me!
