LAST Week of ALPHA!!!!! I can't believe it was almost five weeks ago that I started this journey. Seriously. FIVE whole weeks! Its been a crazy ride so far, and I'm almost half done with the whole program. I'm not where I want to be QUITE yet, but I'm getting there. As long as there is progress, its worth it, and I AM seeing progress.
One thing I'm trying differently this week, meal prep! Let me tell you, day one of having every single meal already put together for me, was awesome! I had MORE than enough to eat, and felt full all day, and knew everything I was eating wasn't bad for me!
I spent Sunday afternoon going grocery shopping, and prepping all of my meals. I made mason jar salads for lunch, egg muffins with fresh strawberries for breakfast, and cheese and almonds for snacks. Plus I still get my daily ShakeO! I made enough for both Joshua and me! It took about an hour and a half to do all the chopping and preparing, but in the end I was very excited for my week. Especially because I now don't have to worry about ANYTHING. I now understand why so many people say meal prep is the key to success! It will seriously help me from getting the munchies and getting a bag of sour cream and onion chips!
At work, I could tell my muscles were aching for some work! My right quad was killing me. I just needed to stretch it or something. It was just hurting. Seriously. I could not WAIT for my workout today! My workout was AMAZING, and I hate to brag, but I killed it! I'm still doing some modified moves so I'm wondering if I should do another few weeks of Alpha before moving on to Beta, or if I should just keep on pushing to beta. I'll have to ask my other coaches for some advice on that and get back to you all!
What are your favorite meals to prep for the week? I need more ideas!
