T25: Beta Begins! Week 6 Day 1

I know you all were probably thinking day one would start on a Monday.  But I know the weeks get busy sometimes and since I actually LIKE working out on Sundays, I figured I'd start today JUST in case one day I don't feel like working out. 

After an overly exciting weekend, it was nice to get back to some normalcy.  My amazingly beautiful best friend got engaged at Joe Louis Arena while we were all there celebrating hers and Joshua's birthday.  So needless to say, it was eventful! 

Today was rather eventful too!  Savannah and I went to the park with all my closest girls and my nieces and nephews.  So not only did I get workout today, I also went for an amazing little walk through the park for a couple hours!

So to the main event:  I STARTED BETA TODAY!!!!  Let me tell you, Beta is already more fun than Alpha.  Its hard to tell you how its "more fun," but it just is.  The moves are more complex so it takes more concentration.  It makes the time go faster.  The name of the first beta workout is Core Cardio.  So not only is it a cardio workout, its a core workout.  Let me tell you my abs are going to be hurting tomorrow! My legs might too!  After a week of taking it easy, I can tell my muscles are going to be aching.  I needed the workout though!  A week is way too long to not fully workout.

My workouts are definitely paying off though.  Some SUPER awesome news:  All of my jeans were dirty and in the wash, so I pulled out a pair i haven't been able to fit into for 2 years.  And GUESS WHAT.  THEY FIT!!!!  Even still the waist was too large!!!  My thighs won't fit into a smaller pair right now though, so I guess I need to get a few more belts!
